Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for his iconic one-liners. However, these witty comebacks are not limited to the silver screen but also in real life. The former assistant attorney general Jeff Clark recently got a taste of Arnold’s unique style of answering the critics. The exchange between the two began during a discussion on a contentious Supreme Court case last year, but it quickly escalated into a battle of words.
The Austrian Oak often makes headlines with his unique workout tips and insights into acting. However, the bodybuilding icon is recently in the news for a witty reply to Clark after having a case verdict in his favor. Let’s look at how things unfolded.

In October 2022, Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to express his opinion on the Moore v. Harper case. Schwarzenegger also revealed that he had filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court regarding the same case. Amicus Brief is filed by someone who is not directly involved with a case, but has a strong interest in the matter and wants to offer their expertise or is court-invited. However, Jeff Clark, a former Trump official, responded to Schwarzenegger’s tweet with serious comments that seemed to criticize or challenge Schwarzenegger’s position.
You know when faux Republican "the Ahhnold" is de-mothballed to file an amicus brief at the Supreme Court–one authored by significant Democrat Supreme Court practitioner David Frederick, the Dem party is very, very concerned about how Moore v. Harper could come out at the S Ct. https://t.co/Za5w6ewFla

But Schwarzenegger decided to use his signature humor to give a biting response. He posted a picture on social media where Clark was seen standing handcuffed and wearing only a dress shirt and shorts. The photograph was taken during a previous incident when federal authorities had searched Clark’s home as part of an investigation.
Hi Jeff! I know the Supreme Court went my way in Moore v. Harper and not yours, but I’m still here for leg training tips! You can get some free workouts and positivity here (it might help you!): https://t.co/vhhrgxQq1x https://t.co/2rUVJBcTHZ

Recently, the Supreme Court ruling came in favor of ‘The Terminator.’ This victory provided him with the perfect opportunity to once again respond to Jeff Clark in his unique style. Schwarzenegger, known for his passion for fitness and bodybuilding, cleverly replied to his previous tweet with a fresh taunt. He wrote, “Hi, Jeff! I know the Supreme Court went my way in Moore v. Harper and not yours, but I’m still here for leg training tips.”
Referencing Clark’s image in shorts, he suggested he could offer advice on building strong legs, which he provides to his ‘village’ of people who are subscribed to his daily newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club, extending his jibe beyond the political sphere.
What was the Moore v. Harper case?
The feud between Schwarzenegger and Clark originated from a case known as Moore v. Harper, which revolved around the interpretation of the US Constitution’s independent state Legislature theory. This theory asserts that State Legislatures have ultimate authority over Federal Elections, suggesting that state courts cannot enforce state constitutional provisions. Schwarzenegger being politically active, filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court to support different interpretations.
This is my amicus brief in Moore v. Harper, the test of the so-called independent state legislature theory at the Supreme Court. You have to be polite at SCOTUS, but here are my unfiltered thoughts. Frankly, this theory is nuts. 1/4 https://t.co/Np9KuoUdcT

However, the discussion that started as a debate over constitutional interpretation quickly evolved into a personal clash. Now it would be interesting to see if Clark has anything to say in his favor on not.
