The artist was also a good friend of his and his demise was a reality difficult to accept for the star athlete. Recently, journalist and Arnie’s ex-wife, Maria Shriver, also took to her Twitter to share similar heartbreaking news. 

Shriver shared a close-knitted bond with the TV producer and friend, who sadly passed away. Their friendship dates back to the time when Shriver worked as a journalist for local news. Therefore, upon his demise, she penned down a heartfelt note for the late personality.

Taking to her Twitter earlier today, the 67-year-old author took a moment to reflect on her past friendship with Bill Geddie. She re-shared the post by ABC News that revealed that Geddie died at the age of 68, and his family announced the sad news. He was the co-founder of the popular chat show, The View, working as the executive producer for 17 seasons.

Moreover, he was also Maria’s colleague when she worked in the local news department years ago. Therefore, in her post, she noted, “He was supremely talented, kind beyond words, a lovely man, and a great friend. I’m so sad about this and my heart goes out to Barbara.”

We will remember the TV personality for his great sense of humor, integrity, and unequaled influence on the TV entertainment sphere. His net worth was estimated to be around $8 million as per reports. Unfortunately, the personality passed away in his Rancho Mirage residence in California. Likewise, Arnie was also devastated after he stumbled upon the news of his friend Ralph Crawford’s demise.

This encouraged the star athlete to share a moving note for the late artist. After hailing him as a “great artist” and a “fantastic friend”, Arnie expressed that he will “miss” his friend. Moreover, he ascertained that the world will remember him through his iconic work of art and sculptures. Notably, one of his works stands proudly in the Austrian Oak’s childhood home as well.
