Nicker Walker’s Olympia dream was shattered when he had to leave the conference suddenly due to a hamstring injury. Walker is suffering from a partially torn hamstring and a calf knot that has made his recovery significantly slow. Heartbroken, Walker is now looking forward to recover completely as fast as he can. As he struggles to perform basic gym routines, Walker has realized that the future is not looking too bright for him.

In a recent social media interaction with fans, the muscle man made another heartbreaking confession that has put his fans in a state of shock. The 2021 Arnold Classic winner shed light on his intention for future bodybuilding events. 

Nick Walker makes heart-breaking confession

No matter how tough the situation is, Walker never leaves a chance to interact with fans who are always ready to support and praise him. He shares every bit of his happiness and grief with his online admirers. Recently, one of his fans asked him “Are you preparing for Arnold Classic?” The answer to the question might not be something that his fans must have expected to hear. Nick replied on his story, “I’m not preparing, I do not have Arnold Classic mind, my main objective as of right now is to make sure you know to full recovery and prepare for next year. That’s the goal here.”

This 29-year-old bodybuilder, who got his nickname for mesmerizing aesthetics, came third at the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Though he was close to his dream, he could not match the brilliance of Hadi Choopan & Derek Lunsford. After failing to clinch the title last year, Walker started working hard in the gym with consistency to clinch the title in 2023. 

However, this year’s dream too, was dashed. Now, it might be hard for him to make plans easily for upcoming competitions, but we can never ignore the hard work Walker put in to reach the level where he is today.

The iconic bodybuilder relived the dark or rather harsh reality of his life when he made some heart-wrenching revelations from the past. In an interview with his rivals, Hadi Choopan, and Derek Lunsford’s coach, Hany Rambod, Nick Walker opened up about his unfortunate childhood. “When I was a child, I was molested,” said Walker. “So, growing up, I tended to isolate myself quite often, and training was more of the scapegoat for me to take my anger out and be alone,” He added further, making his audience emotional.

Alcohol and drugs also engulfed his life as he used to believe that consuming these can help him to get rid of childhood trauma and abuse. However, once he realized that he was getting himself into the biggest trouble, Walker utilized his love for training and began his journey as a bodybuilder.
