Shaun Clarida has been taking the bodybuilding world by storm and everyone saw his bodybuilding prowess in the 212 Mr Olympia division. His incredible journey has caught everyone’s eye in the bodybuilding industry. The champion from America started his journey a few years ago and in a short period, he made his name in the bodybuilding world with his unwavering spirit and determination.

He won the Olympia in 2022 however Keone Pearson won the 2023 trophy. After the competition, he was on a hiatus for a long time and recently uploaded a video of his workout on Instagram.

Shaun Clarida talks about his mindset

While working out he became candid in the video and spoke about his experience in the weight class of 212 Division. He spoke about his weight and how he was tensed that he might have maxed out. Clarida said, “This is the first time where I am seeing and believing I’m maxed out.”

He also narrated, “I should not be 185 pounds on stage in a 5’1 5’2 height. Where my body needs to be is what’s gonna be two titles so far.” According to Clarida, he has to be under 180 to be his absolute best. He said that his weight was 177 in 2021 and 179 in 2022 respectively and he won Mr Olympia for both the years.

The Giant Killer is also confident about his return in 2024 to the Olympia stage and said that he is gearing up for the next competition. Clarida never gives up even in the face of adversity. He had shared his 5 points to success before as well.

Despite getting criticisms from fans and the negativity around him, Clarida is focused on his goals and determined to win. The caption of his previous post narrated exactly that. He wrote that in an interview he was asked what advice he had for aspiring bodybuilders and competitors.

He narrated the five points of being successful. Clarida said being patient, staying in one’s lane, enjoying the process, believing in oneself, and finally not having a plan B. Being adamant about the fitness goal is the main mantra.
