The firstborn of Arnie and ex-wife Shriver married the Hollywood Superhero Chris Pratt in 2019 after dating for a year. Earlier, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor opened up about how he first met Katherine Schwarzenegger during an interview.

Arnold Schwarzenegger met Maria Shriver in the 1970s and took her hand in marriage in 1986. The couple welcomed their first child, Katherine Schwarzenegger, in 1989, and her birth moved Arnie into tears, but Katherine Schwarzenegger shocked her father by marrying an actor. But the couple are setting serious couple goals and are parents to two beautiful daughters.

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Pratt narrated how he met Katherine during his toughest times. “There was a moment in my life that I was really struggling and felt really broken,” he confessed. But he feels it was a blessing to meet Katherine, calling the incident a “perfect plan” of the Universe and “feeling saved“. 

Detailing on the first time he saw her, Pratt said, “I was, like, in the front row of church, which is like, you kind of don’t wanna be like, “Whoa, who’s that?” at church.” But he couldn’t resist glancing at her while praying to God, “Come on. I’m broken, Help me!” And the almighty did, as they were married and so much in love.

The 44-year-old actor’s love language

Chris Pratt often shares his admiration for his wife on social media. From supporting the author in the professional sphere to cooking meals for her as part of his “love language“, Pratt leaves no stone unturned in expressing his love for his wife. 

While promoting the 33-year-old’s children’s book, Pratt shared an Instagram post and captioned, “I am beyond proud of my amazing wife Katherine! Her creativity and love for storytelling shine through her upcoming children’s book.” Despite their parenting duties, the couple find time for each other.
