In a world where social media has become a powerful platform to grow businesses and influence people around the globe, veteran bodybuilder Dave Palumbo has some interesting advice for five-time Mr. Olympia, Chris Bumstead, to leverage the 22 million followers he has on Instagram.
Palumbo suggests an intriguing idea that CBum should explore a business idea similar to a popular YouTuber and entrepreneur, Logan Paul. Paul, who has been in the news recently because of his energy drink, Prime, also raked in over $250 million in sales in its first year. Palumbo wants CBum to follow the same path.

In a recent post reshared by CBum on his Instagram story, he added an image that showcased a quote attributed to Palumbo. It read, “If Chris Really Has 22 Million Followers, Like Legit 22 Million, he should be selling his own energy drink. If Logan Paul could sell Prime, Bumstead could sell an energy drink just as well.” The original post was shared by BisandTris, a popular fitness and bodybuilding page.
The IFBB Pro believes that with Bumstead’s substantial online presence and influence, he could potentially achieve something similar to Logan Paul by entering this market. However, little did he know that CBum already helms a brand called Bum Energy. Following Palumbo’s suggestion, Bumstead responded to the original post, seizing a perfect opportunity to promote his brand. “I don’t drink Diet Coke. I drink @bumenergy “ he wrote.
Earlier this year, Bumstead had also shot a commercial for his brand, RAW Nutrition, but even then, he couldn’t stop training.
Bumstead continues training even at Walmart
The bodybuilding icon was spotted doing an ad film for his protein whey supplement brand RAW Nutrition at Walmart. Even during his shoot he didn’t stop working out and continued doing an incline dumbbell press. After becoming a partner and co-owner of the brand in 2021, Bumstead has been promoting RAW globally. The Canadian bodybuilder has shared the screen with fellow fitness enthusiasts Domenic Iacovone and Matt Jansen for commercials as well.
It seems the energy drink industry is highly lucrative, and successful endorsements and promotions can lead to significant financial gains. Logan Paul and CBum’s journey into entrepreneurship has shown that diversifying beyond traditional avenues can be a game-changer in the fitness industry. Have you tried their energy drinks?
