Men’s Physique athlete Jeff Seid became a fitness and bodybuilding icon even before turning 20. The bodybuilding prodigy won millions of fans across the world with his focus on building an aesthetic physique. His efforts earned him a place on the Olympia stage. However, Seid took a nearly decade-long hiatus from the competition.
However, the bodybuilding icon finally returned to the bodybuilding stage last month. While fans would often celebrate the return of an icon who never realized his full potential, things went differently for Jeff Seid. Fans frowned at the 29-year-old bodybuilder when he chose to compete at a drug-tested natural bodybuilding show in the INBA banner.
The 29-year-old attracted a lot of doubt about his natural status during the peak of his social media fame. People immediately thought that he had stopped taking ste***ds and looked downsized compared to his physique before the hiatus. However, the bodybuilder defended his natty status. “Have I ever really had any indicators of being on ste***ds?” Seid asked in a long video he made to address the accusations.

The bodybuilder claimed that he has always been natural and didn’t show any of the side effects caused by PEDs. The 29-year-old said that he didn’t suffer from gynecomastia, severe acne, or hair loss, and gained only 10 lbs of lean muscle in nearly a decade. However, bodybuilding fans didn’t really seem convinced by the Men’s Physique competitor’s explanation.
Jeff Seid didn’t manage to convince bodybuilding fans
One fan pointed out that Jeff Seid was going out of his way to address something people are theorizing about on the internet. “If you have to go to great lengths to explain why you are natty, you aren’t natty,” wrote the fan. Another fan noted how Jeff Seid is still focused on proving himself as a natural bodybuilder. “This dude is almost 30 and still talks like an immature 18-year-old,” commented the fan.

Others compared Jeff Seid with the other fitness personalities who have been accused of being enhanced for years. “Whose buddy thinks he’s fooling? Jeff O’Hearn out here,” wrote a fan referring to Mike O’Hearn, who is notorious for not admitting to using PEDs yet being shredded at 55. “He’s natty like The Rock,” wrote another fan comparing Seid to Dwayne Johnson, another celebrity long suspected of being on gear.
“Bro still wants to prove he’s natty so bad all these years later. Makes it even more sus(picious),” commented another fan. While the people who accuse Jeff Seid of being enhanced have no proof, the bodybuilding icon’s vehement defensiveness may have made it worse. What do you feel? Tell us in the comments.
