In his Instagram post, he spoke about Beta Alanine, where he advocated for its benefits. According to him, beta-alanine contains lactic acid and helps people do more reps in workouts. He also said that it helps in longevity while performing cardio by preventing tiredness. He explained while some people might speculate, there is science that reflects on positive outcomes from the supplement, giving a small 1% to 3% boost in overall performance.

“It’s probably one of, if not the most underrated supplement in the world,” stated Doucette. According to the National Institutes of Health, beta-alanine is an amino acid that makes a substance called carnosine, thought to boost muscle endurance during tough workouts. However, it might help a bit with intense exercises but not always with better results.
They also mentioned what foods contain beta-alanine properties, including meat. However, the side effects of this include skin tingling and others. It is advised to use such substances under professional medical guidance. Despite backing a specific supplement, Doucette lambasted a former athlete turned celebrity, Harry Jowsey, a while ago.

During an interview with a professional doctor and YouTuber Mikhail Varshavski, famously known as Doctor Mike, Jowsey disclosed a peculiar truth about his life. Jowsey shared that his doctor once suggested using muscle-enhancing drugs to look better, and this idea convinced him to give it a try.
However, the 48-year-old bodybuilder warned against using testosterone hormone replacement therapy (HRT) without a genuine need. He discourages taking hormones or growth hormones without a medical reason. Notably, because some clinics might promote unnecessary treatments just to earn more money. He said that as long as you can avoid such ordeals you should, because it can make you regret later in life.
