Greg Doucette pointed out Chris Bumstead’s meal prep during his off-season as the main culprit of CBum gaining fat. While a few hours ago, the IFBB pro shared some tips on trimming down on Instagram. While the world is fixated on strength training, Doucette advises people to do more cardio. He said, “On top of a good diet, cardio to me, that is the secret.”

The simple reason is, “If you do cardio, you become a better burner. You burn more calories than last time.” The vlogger further opined that it’s easier to stick to a high-calorie diet than to survive on a meager amount of food. “Think of it: which diets are easier to fail—the diet where you can eat a lot of calories or to diet you have to starve yourself off? And so with more cardio comes more food, or food more calories, and it’s easier to control your weight,” said Doucette.

According to the pro, this is the most “underrated method” of body transformation. Doucette has created a league of his own, distributing wellness inspiration. The powerlifter also frequently highlights incorrect gym conduct on social media.

“Please do not try this at home. This could easily have ended very poorly with a broken knee or torn muscle,” added Doucette, referring to the dangerous act.
