Canadian IFBB Pro-turned-bodybuilding coach Greg Doucette is known for his no-nonsense approach to fitness. The former enhanced bodybuilder doesn’t pull any punches while talking about difficult subjects like steroids, obesity, and more. Doucette doesn’t beat around the bush when it comes to calling out those he feels are performing questionable actions.

Earlier, Coach Greg shared one such video showcasing the consequences of leading a sedentary lifestyle. The 48-year-old uploaded a short video on Instagram that gave a unique first-person look at the life of a man 32-year-old man suffering a heart attack. While fictional, the cautionary video showed the choices the man made, leading up to the fateful moment.

The bodybuilding influencer had a simple message

The video Greg Doucette uploaded showed an obese man inside the operation theatre. As the doctors are about to perform surgery, one of the assistants informs the surgeon that the man is 32 years old, 5’9, 300 lbs, and suffered cardiac arrest. The video then shows the man having a flashback of every warning sign he ignored for years.

 

“How the hell does that happen,”?says one of the doctors before the screen fades to black and the flashback begins. The clip then shows memories of the man’s life in reverse. It shows the man eating a massive amount of junk food although his health deteriorates. One memory shows a physician warning the man about getting diabetes if he doesn’t?“make a change.”

The video continues in reverse, showing the man graduating from college. He then attempts to lose weight but goes back to fast food. The videos show how junk food dominated the man’s life ever since he turned eight years old.?“Every decision you make matters!”?wrote Doucette in his sort but effect caption while sharing the video. Doucette himself has shown the importance of rectifying past decisions.

While the bodybuilding veteran often calls out people who abuse steroids, he also used them when he was younger. Coach Greg competed as a natural bodybuilder and powerlifter for years before hopping on steroids to make it as a pro bodybuilder. The Canadian also found success, he competed in the 212 division and became national champion.

However, as he grew older, Doucette began feeling the side effects of PEDs. So, the IFBB Pro stopped taking steroids and retired from competitive bodybuilding.?“Stopped abusing PEDs and lost about 8 lbs of muscle as it?s simply not worth the risk,”?Doucette confessed in an Instagram post.

While PEDs helped the 48-year-old win bodybuilding and powerlifting contests, it deteriorated his health. Hence, Greg Doucette stopped. Coach Greg aimed to spread a similar message through the Instagram video.
