The IFBB Pro advised budding fitness enthusiasts and wrote in the caption of his new post, “Don’t believe the hype. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Just stick to the basics. Too many scams & frauds in the fitness industry.” According to him, this blunt advice is a reality check for those who are enticed by short-term solutions and unrealistic approaches.

The bodybuilder didn’t hold back and addressed the mistakes natural lifters make while entering the fitness world. “This Isn’t to be condescending by any means, but new natty lifters are some of the most naive yet hopeful people in the gym,” shared the influencer.
To elaborate on his point he recalled a humorous story about a gym-goer who was looking for a quick fix. Hunter Jr. sarcastically told him the secret of his shredded physique was “ice water.” Despite the sarcasm, the gymgoer believed him.
Further, Hunter Jr. also implored that those who are new to the fitness world should not choose the path of quick solutions and should think clearly before attempting anything new. He also cautioned them against certain PEDs as well.
Hunter Jr. cautions against SARMs
As the video progressed, the fitness icon also advised natural lifters to focus on basic routines like proper nutrition and training. He suggested that the key to gaining strength and a shredded physique was to delve into “protein, creatine, pre-workout, or maybe L-carnitine.” However, he strongly warned against using experimental substances like SARMs, saying, “I wouldn’t touch SARMs with a ten-foot pole.”
