The bodybuilding fans are not unaware of the intense competition between the G.O.A.T Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler in the mid-2000s. The King’s domination on the stage of Mr. Olympia was evident with his eight Sandow trophies. The most fierce rival of Coleman was Cutler, who came second to him four times in Mr. Olympia before claiming his first Sandow trophy.
In 2006, the bodybuilding world witnessed the culmination of their onstage fight when Cutler won the Mr. Olympia title, breaking the eight-time winning streak of Ronnie Coleman. The King retired from the competitive scene after it, and Cutler went on to lift three more Sandow trophies.
While discussing Cutler and Coleman’s onstage performance and the events that unfolded, the elite bodybuilding coach Sarcev commented, “Let’s look at that back in those times there was a two-man show, it’s you and Ronnie,” while discussing with Jay Cutler. The IFBB Pro also took note of how the current bodybuilding scene varies. “Now it’s different, I mean in this Mr. Olympia, there’s five or six guys,” he said.
