Recently Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on CNN. During their conversation, the former Governor of California talked about how he would return to politics but only if he could run for president. When Wallace asked if Arnie was serious enough to join the presidential race in 2024, the 75-year-old said yes. However, the bodybuilding legend is also aware that the Constitution of the United States of America would prevent him from doing so. However, the fans are ready to support him.
While Schwarzenegger is a citizen and former governor, the Constitution doesn’t allow anyone other than a “natural-born” American to run for president. Since the seven-time Mr. Olympia immigrated to America from Australia in 1968, he isn’t eligible despite his global popularity and contribution to American politics.
