It is brave to pursue one?s dreams but braver to know when to leave that road and close the chapter. The?bodybuilding?beast and IFBB pro fitness trainer, Iain Valliere, made this brave decision to quit bodybuilding and retire from the competitive sphere. This news came as a major shock to the bodybuilding world and to his brother-in-law, Chris Bumstead, who was also under his mentorship. However, Valliere is now embarking on a new journey in his life, and he seems excited about the new possibilities.

Just as he kept people updated about his career change, he kept his fans updated about his workout routine and the various alterations in his life in recent times. Valliere seems to be enjoying his time away from competitive bodybuilding and recently talked about his changing physique.

Valliere retired from bodybuilding recently, and according to him, it gave him a lot of relief and eradicated pressure from his life. His decision was based on his dwindling interest and passion in competitive bodybuilding. Even after winning the Toronto Pro show and getting a direct ticket to the 2023 Mr. O, he decided to quit on his dreams, which was a brave decision. Now the bodybuilder is concentrating on changing his body for a new chapter in his life.

In his new Instagram post, he uploaded a picture of his latest conditioning and talked about his forearms.??I think I?m going to reach a point in the not-too-distant future where my forearms are bigger than my upper arms ?. 256lb here, feeling good!??the IFBB pro commented. In his attempt to downsize his physique, he might be getting more muscular, as seen in the latest picture. Valliere also shared in the comments that he is trying to get smaller and cut down his muscles because his perspective has reversed. Earlier, he used to worry about cutting, but now he worries about bulking.

Earlier a smaller physique would get him upset when he was a competitive bodybuilder, but now it is the other way around. The bodybuilder who would like to learn arm wrestling in the future is just enjoying his new phase of life at the moment. The next chapter in his life is still unknown by the fans, but they know why he quit bodybuilding.

Iain Valliere shares his reason for quitting

In?a previous episode of the GIVR podcast?hosted by Melissa Valliere, Iain shared that he felt relieved after retiring from competitive bodybuilding.??My ability to kind of, you know, get my meals in a timely fashion, which might be getting me anxious in terms of, like, am I going to, you know, be like an hour late for my meal, and then it?s going to push back to next hour,??he said.

The bodybuilding champion was also relieved that he did not have to prep or groom himself for the competition and have sleepless nights over his conditioning. He was brave enough to understand when to stop chasing his dreams when it was not giving him the same amount of happiness anymore.
