The Mass Monster’s Ambition: Combining Size and Conditioning

Three years ago, in an interview with Muscular Development, the Mass Monster disclosed his incredibly high standards regarding his physical condition. He aimed to redefine the benchmark for big men by striving to be as shredded as a lightweight or middleweight, just with an additional 100 pounds of muscle. Consequently, the former IFFB-pro often ended up lighter than necessary.

Moreover, Dorian asserted that by today’s conditioning standards, he would have weighed 10-15 pounds more and appeared fuller. “If I were competing today and being held to the current standard of condition, I would have been 10-15 pounds heavier and fuller. I was usually as lean as today’s top pros get at five to six weeks out.”
