Recently, the self-proclaimed CEO of Gym Positivity narrated a heartening yet emotional incident that happened to him at the gym. Taking to an Instagram post, Swoll opened up about meeting a fan’s brother during a workout session.

Swoll enjoys 3.3M followers on Instagram, and it isn’t uncommon for him to bump into his fans at the gym. Recently, the 40-year-old was approached by a fitness enthusiast at the gym, and Swoll was more than happy to interact. However, the meeting would soon turn emotional, leaving the bodybuilding icon with a positive thought.

Detailing his meet-up with Adam, Swoll emphasized how Adam spoke about his brother, who is a big fan of the influencer. “He then with the biggest smile on his face told me about how his big brother Yosef was my biggest fan and always showing everyone my videos and talking about me,” the internet sensation narrated in his post.

But when the icon enquired Adam about his brother, he got the biggest shock of his life. Adam revealed that his brother Yosef passed away, but he wanted to let Swoll know how his brother admired him. “I gave him a hug, told him I was so sorry for his loss and that I would say a prayer for his brother and family,” the CEO of gym positivity emotionally confessed. The incident profoundly impacted Swoll as he noted that Adam reminded him of his purpose in life. It isn’t the first time he came across such people who boosted his morale

The 40-year-old bodybuilder understood the importance of positivity in childhood when he became a victim of bullying. His mother’s kind actions further inspired him to do good for society. But his gym positivity movement started only after the pandemic when he hit his ultimate low and wanted to kill himself.

But Swoll overcame his depressive thoughts and took on himself to preach gym positivity on the internet. Now, he is acclaimed worldwide for his videos. A fan of his at the gym once told Joey Swoll, “The world needs you, Joey,” which made him resolve to ramp up his positive efforts.
