Action-comedy series, FUBAR premiered on Netflix last month which sparked a debate on the likeability of the show. As a matter of fact, the show was trending to #1 on the platform, yet many fans and spectators criticized the show’s storyline or questioned the star’s acting finesse.
On the other hand, Arnie’s supporters have backed him on the matter, spotlighting the good aspects of the series and simply expressing their love for him. A glimpse of such a debate was observed under a Reddit post branded the series as an embarrassment.

As most didn’t expect, the 75-year-old icon’s latest show on the OTT-giant, Netflix wasn’t majorly liked by the audience. However, a chunk of the loyal fans hailed the former athlete for his efforts and for getting the opportunity to see him back on screen. The storyline seemed to be greatly similar to Arnie’s previous 1994 movie, True Lies.

In the series, he plays the role of a CIA agent on a mission, while also leading a double life. His charactor is separated from his wife and looks to resolve his difference with his daughter. With occasional puns and comical elements, Arnie did a great job making his fans laugh.
However, fans claim that the action could’ve been better. It is a binge-fest for Schwarzenegger fans who simply adore his on-screen persona. Yet, the insights on the Reddit post ranged from intense criticisms to cheers for Arnie’s efforts.

The title of the post remarked the Austrian Oak’s FUBAR series as an “embarrassment,” which sparked the series of insights under the post. An initial comment stated that the user was “flabbergasted” by simply watching the trailer, realizing that it was a series rather than a movie. Further, the note added that the jokes would have been okay for a 90-minute comedy but for a series, it wasn’t as ideal in the show. In contrast, a fan chimed in, “It’s perfect for me I just want to watch it while I do other stuff.”

Similarly, another fan hailed Arnie, while commenting on his acting skills, and wrote, “I like Arnold so I will watch it and enjoy him. He’s always been a terrible actor. I like him anyway.” Another user from the other side of the debate remarked that Arnie was “barely trying to act,” while adding, “Felt like a cheesy action movie, but unfortunately for way longer.” Backed by a loyal fan, another comment simply appreciated his feature and stated, “It’s not great, but I was a kid in the 80s and I just can’t help but love Arnold. I’d watch him and Sylvester Stallone in anything.”

The debates are not new to the bodybuilding legend. His career involved many such discussions which he handled with finesse. A good feature or not, Arnie’s fans were happy to see him get back to action even at 75.
