Francis Benfatto is one of the rare bodybuilders who belong to the league of aesthetically pleasing physiques. Mr. France of 1982 focussed on building conditioning and symmetry from the very start of his bodybuilding journey. The IFBB pro has now turned into a fitness coach and he once shared his knowledge of the sport on his social media.
A throwback video from his Instagram grid has ‘The Titan’ training with Benfatto at the Gold’s Gym, Venice back in the day. In the post, Mr. Proportion revealed the secret mantra that helped him and Mike O’ Hearn to grow into ageless bodybuilders.

The video captured Benfatto leading O’Hearn by example with a kind of spider curls. In the caption, the golden-era bodybuilder said, “As you can see, we changed a bit through the years, which is normal.” He corrected himself the next moment by saying Mike O’ Hearn was intact physique-wise all over the years. “Mike doesn’t changed at all, I think he is a vampire,” the French bodybuilder joked.
The 1985 Mr.Universe credited the right training and nutrition to build a well-defined body irrespective of age. He considers the 54-year-old actor’s physique had improved over the years and emphasizes hard work and consistency to achieve such results. “To obtain longevity in bodybuilding, you need to train smart, really smart, and eat smarter than you train,” the 64-year-old gives away the trick for transforming into a brawny avatar.

Benfatto accepted that both he and O’Hearn don’t train in a similar way as in the past. They have started experimenting, evolving, and adapting over the years. “We learned, we evolute, our body, and muscles are still changing,” adds the sexagenarian while still doing many things right like nutrition and training.
The American Gladiator star also shared his mantra to slow aging once.
The Titan’s advice for an ageless physique
O’Hearn credits his younger looks irrespective of his age to his healthy diet and workout routine. He advises youngsters to inculcate a habit of healthy eating to age slowly. “I keep telling you guys this doesn’t eat just for bodybuilding eat for life, ” he stressed.

According to him, one should train and eat to be fit and just not build muscle. O’Hearn values long-term results over short-term satisfaction.
