The mom of two realized that she would compromise on caring for her kids if she didn’t take action to lose weight a couple of years ago. She weighed over 450 lbs and was close to losing her mobility to overweight. So, Alonso decided to hit the gym for well-being. However, she wanted to quit many times. “The number of times I wanted to quit… I can’t even keep track!” she mentioned in her post.

But Ana Alonso is a tough nut to crack. She pursued her workout routine at the gym, telling herself that it would get better with each passing day. And Yes, it did! She lost 184 lbs, and Alonso revealed why she never gave up on her fitness journey. “I owe it to myself to not give up!” she wrote in her post shared by Bodybuilding.com.

The weight loss warrior who once struggled to walk, carrying her 450 lbs weight, now wants to sprint 5K under 30 minutes by next summer. Alonso was almost immobile due to her weight, becoming the spoilt sport on the family’s fun trips. She couldn’t walk with her kids. But after losing 184 lbs, Alonso is up for running marathons.

Alonso’s family ran 5K, and the weight loss girl is happy about her new running benchmarks. “I am sprinting 45-60 seconds at 8.0 mph. This feels so fast. May not be a lot for some people. But it means the world to me,” she confessed to her followers.
