Raechelle Chase had an immense following of over a million followers on her Facebook account. She was the first Kiwi woman to take part in the 2011 Figure Olympia bodybuilding event in Las Vegas. Being a single mother, Raechelle had her share of challenges in her personal life, raising five children on her own. As she passed away, her eldest daughter revealed, according to Stuff. co, that her mother was very ambition-driven.
“She was supportive, kind-hearted, and always had the best advice for us. She was a wildly driven woman with ambition and has inspired millions of people around the world. I miss her immensely and that love won’t ever fade,” Anna stated. Keith O’Connell, who was a close friend of Raechelle, also admitted that Raechelle was one of the “kindest souls” he had known.

Her personal life was full of obstacles, as she confirmed previously in an article that she was in a “toxic and abusive” relationship with Chris Chase. He was later found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment for ten years after being arrested in 2012 for being involved in selling drugs in and around New Zealand.
“The relationship I was in taught me many things about what I don’t want, and what I need to steer very clear off. It wasn’t just me that suffered, it was my entire family,” Chase wrote. Adding to this, she stated, “So if you know you are in an abusive relationship and you don’t have the courage to leave, do it for your children.”
