Heath came onto Instagram to share a story of his life that happened to him in 2020. The seven-time Mr. Olympia winner, gives an important listen to all of his followers to his own experience.
Phil Heath opens up about his failure

Heath uploaded a video from December 4, 2020, which was the peak of lockdown. In the video, he was working out his pumped-up biceps by doing some pull-ups. While the video was motivating in itself, the words in the caption were something to contemplate.? The bodybuilding legend started by giving an anecdote of his experiences in 2020. According to the IFBB pro, due to the pandemic, he had lost one of his businesses and realized that some of his friends were not his friends, and the 2020 Mr. Olympia was moved from Las Vegas to Orlando due to COVID-19 restrictions. Heath expressed his stress over the mammoth changes in his life and then went on to declare that there was another huge lesson coming for him.

The bodybuilder who became habitual with winning, since he dominated the Olympias was going to learn a lesson from his loss. He wrote, ?I dominated the Mr. Olympia title for 7 years, I had to be extremely selfish and it was necessary to survive the absolute hell of Winning. In the words of my dear friend and mentor @timgrover “Winning takes you to Hell and if you quit, that’s where you’ll stay.? Therefore he decided to go with a winning mentality in 2020 Olympias, even after the turbulent life he was leading in that year.?
The bodybuilder who is tied in Sandow trophies with Arnold Schwarzenegger said, ?I went into that show with No Quit and only focused on Winning. Losing in 2020 was what I needed. I needed a big disruption and massive change. I needed to find out who cared about me as a human being.?
Phil Heath gets emotional
The IFBB pro went to revisit his old gym in Denver,?Colorado, where he trained at Armbrust Pro Gym. The gym is owned by former professional?bodybuilder?Dylan Armbrust and mini-veteran bodybuilders, frequent the gym.?

Recently, Phil Heath visited the gym and one fan uploaded a heartfelt story related to it. Heath saw that story and got emotional and shared a video on Instagram expressing his emotions. The fan who is a rookie bodybuilder posted a story in the same gym where The Gift trained all his life. The story read ?Home of @philheath.? Reposting the video on his Instagram account, Heath wrote,??Where I put in hours of work to win those Sandows.?That gym had seen Heath through all his highs and lows so he was overcome with nostalgia.
