Just like in any other household, his diet as well included the consumption of carbs, “bad meat”, and all sorts of fast food growing up. “I grew up eating that cr*p thinking fruit was worse than that. According to Muscle, he was of the belief that such a diet was better than consuming fruits, and that was the major reason behind his heart attack at the age of 46. However, this made Muscle realize what he was putting his body through. The influencer, then quit fast food and carbs, taking up a diet of spinach and fish for almost a year and a half.

However, there was another moment that helped him slowly get beyond the disastrous lifestyle he had been living.

Calling it the “best thing I ever did,” Muscle went on to explain what he felt after the fast. “My eyes opened to the reality of what was going on. We’ve been lied to. They said that I was going to die just eating watermelon. I thrived, I did blood tests, blood work every week. My blood work was the best it ever was in my life. I lost edema in my feet and ankles. Cholesterol was low,” he said.

As most fitness enthusiasts would know, this was just the beginning of Muscle’s fasts. After the watermelon challenge, he went on to survive on a diet of pineapples, took up an apple fast, and even tried his hand at consuming a “miracle juice.” As Muscle continues on his fruitarian diet, it continues to be seen what fruit he will take up next.
