Renowned fitness personalities Mike O’Hearn and Clark Bartram have highlighted the significance of lifestyle choices and hard work in sculpting a remarkable body. They suggest that while factors like high testosterone levels and genetic predisposition do play a role, attributing success solely to them when it comes to achieving a muscular physique is often tempting.

During a recent episode of the Generation Iron podcast, O’Hearn and Bartram discussed the impact of high testosterone levels as well as good genetics on a bodybuilder’s physique. The duo, however, stated that it is their lifestyle choices and their hard work that can help outshine even the genetic limit to some extent.

Countless examples exist of individuals with average genetic profiles and moderate testosterone levels achieving extraordinary physiques through dedication and consistent effort.

Explaining this using himself, O’Hearn emphasized that nutrition, training, and other life choices play just as big of a role as genetics and testosterone levels.?
