Bryan Johnson, the business tycoon who is known for his contributions to technology and fitness, has recently taken a drastic decision. Unlike others, he does not want to get older and aims to challenge the process of aging and extend his life span beyond 120 years. To achieve this extraordinary goal, Johnson has hired specialists and doctors and created a ‘Blueprint’ of his whole anatomy to see how he can monitor his cholesterol and DNA among other things to slow down the aging process.
Recently, he had to make a hard decision to get to the most optimum level of fitness and youth. His recent Instagram video was all about his decision to fire “evening Bryan.”

The video started with the 46-year-old standing in front of the camera and speaking about his decision to fire “evening Bryan,” who was taking a toll on his health. He said, “Evening Bryan had a tough job deciding what and how much to eat during his daily shift from 5 pm to 10 pm.” He captioned the post, “Sorry Evening Bryan, you’re fired!”

His analogy of breaking down his personality into the time of the day was very interesting indeed. He also talked about his evening personality and said that for ten years, overeating had made him gain 50 pounds. He also described that this had a bad ripple effect on the other Bryans who were working throughout the day. At night time, Bryan did not have a proper routine since his stomach would become upset and morning Bryan would be equally exhausted.
Now only the Blueprint Bryan could decide what food and exercise would go into the body and that is how he would be his healthiest and youngest self. Earlier, Johnson had introduced something called life points, a concept that may baffle many fitness enthusiasts.

Bryan Johnson talks about DNA methylation
In a previous Instagram video, he spoke about DNA and introduced a method known as DNA methylation. The caption of the post read, “How many life points do you have? DON’T DIE.” The process of DNA methylation reveals the speed at which the body is aging. According to his recent result, his pace of aging was 0.69.
This meant that every year on the calendar, which is 365 days he would only age for 251 days. This translates to gaining September, October, November, and December for free. Johnson emphasized the significance of his aging speed and explained that a rate of 1.4 would equate to aging five to 11 days in a year. He also warned that a slightly accelerated rate of aging above one biological year can also increase the risk of death by 56% over the next seven years.
