Mike O’Hearn’s unwavering spirit toward fitness
The YouTube video posted on his channel films Mike O’ Hearn walking on the treadmill as he speaks words of wisdom. The ace bodybuilder says that he feels terrible even though he looks incredible while pushing himself hard to get that rigged physique.
He says, “At this little body fat, it’s not great to be that low all the time, and carrying that kind of muscle mass and minimizing the food that you’re taking in to get this look,” he confesses, and continues, “I have to do it to make sure that I continuously try to force to get better and better and better.”
Reflecting on his younger self, the 54-year-old actor says, he wanted to struggle to better himself but as he aged as fine wine, things changed. He finds it crazy and tough to don multiple hats at the moment, juggling film shoots, appearances, TV Shows, and gym while following a diet to maintain a physique for the stage. However, The Titan is inspired by the bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and he doesn’t want it easier.
“It never gets easier but for me, I like that! And I go back to what Arnold said, I don’t want to be comfortable!” he stated. Mike O’ Hearn is someone who is up for a challenge, he wants to get uncomfortable, as he feels it makes him hungrier and perseverant.” I want to be hungry and stay hungry and keep fighting to try to do everything else that’s coming my way and continue to do what I love and create the physique,” he adds.
Mike O’Hearn’s fitness mantra
O’ Hearn balances his nutrition, workout, and recovery which helps him to maintain a jacked physique. “Treat the body kindly and never break it down and destroy it to the point where there’s no recovery. That’s not where you wanna go to,” says the 54-year-old powerlifter in one of his YouTube videos.
