Seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath has etched his name in the bodybuilding history books. Besides equalling Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s record for Olympia wins, the bodybuilder also shared one of the most iconic rivalries in the sport’s history. While they no longer compete on stage Phil Heath and his rival Kai Greene attended the Super Bowl of bodybuilding this weekend in Orlando.

The 43-year-old former champion was present at the Orange County Convention Center for the entirety of the Olympia week. Heath was active, from sitting at the front row during the press conference to commentating during the live pay-per-view broadcast. Kai Greene also attended the event. However, he spent time meeting fans at the Reign Total Body Fuel booth. Despite not crossing paths, Phil Heath couldn’t help but mention his rival in his latest video.

The seven-time Mr. Olympia uploaded a video the morning after the 2023 edition of the most prestigious bodybuilding contest concluded. He urged fans to attend a live Mr. Olympia event at least once. However, despite not meeting Kai Greene during the event, at least on camera, Heath gave a shoutout to his rival in the caption. “I don’t love Kai Greene though,” Heath shared in his caption. However, The Gift also said the feeling was mutual and neither of them could help it. “He and I won’t share that just by design,” said Heath.

However, the 43-year-old seemed to have put much of the bitterness of their rivalry behind him. “We do have love for the game and that’s a start haha,” wrote Phil Heath. Greene has also eased up toward his former onstage rival. The two occasionally interact on social media as well. However, the duo have a long way to go.

However, nearly a decade after their bitter onstage rivalry ended, Health and Greene greet one another if they cross paths.

This year, the duo came across one another at the Arnold Classic in Ohio. While the bodybuilding icons greeted one another, the meeting turned awkward, as they barely had anything to say to one another. Although Phil Heath and Kai Greene no longer compete on stage, their rivalry will remain iconic forever.
