Throughout a standard calf raise workout, which includes both standing and seated calf raises, the veteran bodybuilder integrated an interesting alteration towards the end of his training session. He continuously increased the number of plates, aiming to maintain the weight in a specific position.

Speaking about this technique, the 67-year-old emphasized the importance of finding the sweet spot between too high and too low, aiming for a position in the middle where he could barely hold the weight. “Not up high not real low, but in the middle to where I can hold it, I can barely hold it.” To enhance the intensity, the Quadzilla enlisted the help of the “big guys” in the gym, who provided added pressure by pushing on the weights.
