O’Hearn’s unique approach to training
Mike O’Hearn recently posted a video on his official YouTube channel featuring himself training in the gym. He talked about the significance of being unrestricted. He begins the video by saying, “I say leash off sometimes. When the leash is off, it just means don’t do the workout to try to get better, do the workout to try to get mentally better and challenge yourself.”
O’Hearn suggests that one should not train to get better. Instead, one should be ready to take up challenges being uncontrolled, which means one should put entire energy into training the body. He further reiterated the importance of mental peace while working with weights at the gym. He said that going off-leash may help you in that state.
