Arnie came into The Kelly Clarkson Show to talk to the Grammy award-winning singer, and he talked about his new book. They talked about Arnie?s playlist, his first memories in New York when he came in 1968, and his Hollywood experiences. Kelly also asked him about adapting to the language since he came from Austria, and he talked about his memorable experience.

Arnie made Kelly laugh about his memory related to his accent, where he talked to a restaurant owner and asked for more cabbage, but it came out ‘garbage’. After these nitty-gritty details about life, Clarkson asked him an important question. She asked about a chapter called Opening Your Mind that is present in the new book. Arnold described it as being about being a listener and opening the mind.

He said, ?One of the secrets to my success was that I was always like a sponge. I listened very carefully to what people had to say. I am a very good listener, and I think it really helped me in my career.? This quality of listening rather than talking helped him become a legendary bodybuilder, actor, governor, and author. Arnie also said, ?So many people are concerned about what they have to say, but you do not learn anything if you say.? Arnie?s book chronicles all his struggles, memories, and lessons he learned in life, and something more.

Despite being 76 years old is still learning new things and absorbing knowledge like a sponge. The bodybuilding legend started a newsletter, did a Netflix show, FUBAR, and a documentary, wrote a new book, and is promoting his book now. This book teaches many things, the first being a lesson his father taught him when he was young.

Gustav Schwarzenegger told him to not just chase his dream but also be useful to others. He also shared many other life lessons, among which one was being silent. This had to do with his sacred meditative place, where he used to work out in pin-drop silence. He also wrote about another way and said, ?When I go skiing, I use the ten or fifteen minutes on the chairlift as a kind of sacred space to let my mind wander. It?s that way with bicycling too. No one can bother you on a bike.”
