King Ronnie Coleman has not only won 8 Mr. Olympia trophies, but he has also gone through a lot of hardships to achieve them. Success is not an easy road and Coleman knows that very well. The bodybuilding champ’s training routine was one of the heaviest and the most intense, and he was the only one who could endure it; this was acknowledged by his contemporaries as well. His heavyweight lifting did lead to a lot of back injuries and ultimately a problem with walking, but it still gave him the trophies that he deserved.

Even at this age, when he is already 59, Coleman can still train with heavyweights and has done so in many YouTube videos whether it is a collaboration, or it is a video for his channel.

Coleman is the same throughout the years

The short YouTube video from his official channel started with a glimpse of a throwback video where he’s wearing a cape and the crown of a king while he’s posing on stage. His iconic “Yeah buddy” echoes throughout the background of the video. The video then shows the montage of different eras of the King as he posed with his massive herculean physique with popping veins and muscles on stage.

The video showed how hard Coleman trained every single day and the number of weights he used to lift until failure and then again lift some more. His ripped body was something out of a museum of sculptures, and his stage presence was even better which was perfectly captured in this video. After showing his roller-coaster career and throwback videos where he won eight Mr. Olympias, the video snaps back to the present and shows a 59-year-old Rolly Coleman who has not changed at all.

I try to lift as heavy as I can but always get at least 10 reps,” he reiterated. Fans truly love the GOAT and expressed their love as well.
