The self-proclaimed CEO of Gym Positivity, Joey Swoll has never been hesitant in calling out the toxic behavior of people inside the gym as well as outside of it. Swoll was also a victim of bullying when he was younger and this drove him to the motto of being the harbinger of positivity to gyms.

The bodybuilding social media star recently expressed his anger over three young boys who were disrespecting an elderly woman, who was working out at their gym.

Joey Swoll rebukes the youngsters for using the gym for likes 

Swoll started his Instagram video by showing the footage which started the whole story. Three boys were in front of the camera and at first, it seemed like they were just making a harmless dance video on Rihanna’s song, Work. However, as soon as the song’s hook started playing, they moved away from the camera to show an elderly woman on the treadmill working out. One could see from the video that the woman was not aware of the fact that she was being filmed by them. Swoll was very disappointed and captioned the post saying, “Three young men making fun of an older woman doing cardio. How sad… Shame on you.”

He even showed his disdain in the video and exclaimed, “This video really pis*es me off. This woman is literally minding her own business doing her cardio, yes listening to music and dancing to make it more fun to make it more enjoyable. But you three could not help themselves and you said hey let’s set up our camera to take a video to mock and make fun of her. And all for what to get some likes and attention on social media? shame on you.”

In the true fashion of the CEO of Gym Positivity, he finished the video by saying his tagline ‘you need to do better.’ Swoll is indiscriminate when it comes to his criticisms. Earlier, he had criticized another gymgoer for disrespecting the cleaning staff at a gym. 

Swoll asks the gymgoer to “be a human being”

In a previous video uploaded by the influencer, he showed a clip of a woman who was seen doing a workout inside a gym, hindering the cleaning staff from completing their duty. The woman also disrespected the cleaning staff and insulted her in her caption, writing, “Y’all remember the cleaning lady lmao I can’t make this up.”

This did not sit well with the fitness influencer and he responded angrily saying, “I’m sick and tired of seeing the cleaning staff be disrespected in gyms and treated this way. They deserve nothing but our appreciation and respect.”
