In a recent video posted by @Chris Williamson Phil Heath is questioned about his strong opinion on the usage of Tren and Insulin. He firmly states in one instance how the Tren has an unusual color that should be considered very abnormal to inject in. Heath thus says boldly, “Look at the color of it looks pretty gnarly, man. When you’re injecting… It looks like orange. Like you really want to put something that toxic in your body?”

Phil continues to explore the various facades that has strongly kept him from using the toxic drugs. “Therefore, you’re going to have the trend cough and blah blah blah man. why am I even wanting to go through this? How many times did I sit there coughing my lungs out because of this damn drug?” When asked why he doesn’t incorporate the effects of insulin, Heath unorthodoxly comments, “Why do I need it I’m already winning?

Phil, in turn, asks his interviewer, Chris, why he believes bodybuilders take the drugs. After listening to his answer and not being satisfied with it, Heath proceeds to speak on the entailed issue.

Phil Heath’s beliefs on why bodybuilders consume toxic drugs

As the video continues, Phil slowly deciphers his own opinions. First, he remarks, “I think they suffer from the fact that they want roundness. They want fullness in the muscles because it’s the most anabolic property in the body, right? So they figure like, ‘Oh if I take this I look bigger and you know'”. Additionally, he points out that he already achieved having a well-rounded body and hence doesn’t require further intake of any toxic substance.

Phil has always elaborated on his detestation of drugs and PEDs. His thorough ethics as well as concern for the healthy lifestyle bodybuilders usually bury beneath the steroid syringes is commendable. Heath’s lifestyle thus truly accords with his long list of achievements. Although he retired, he still continues to teach the present generation the distinction between right and wrong. His legacy in guiding budding bodybuilders would be as timeless as his titles.
