The rivalry between Hadi Choopan and Samson Dauda saw a sensational showdown only weeks ago at the stage of the Arnold Classic 2024. The Stage is set again as both the bodybuilders are participating in the UK edition of the Arnold Classic. As the clock ticks for the bodybuilding beasts to face off, Chris Bumstead’s brother-in-law and former bodybuilder, Iain Valliere, has given his thoughts on the rivalry.
Valliere retired from bodybuilding at 33, after several years of excellence and playing a major role in bringing Chris Bumstead to the arena. While he severed ties with competitive bodybuilding, Chris Busmtead’s brother-in-law has continued to follow the industry he was once a part of. As the prejudging is rolling in, Valliere finds it necessary to speak on who he thought would triumph in the Choopan vs. Dauda battle.

Through his Instagram story, Valliere shared his opinions about the Arnold Classic UK. He wrote, “It is definitely closer between Hadi and Samson here than in Columbus.” But as many had already noted, Dauda, despite going through some health issues after the Arnold Classic, still made progress since then.
Moreover, Valliere drew attention to Choopan by saying that his physique looks a little underwhelming. “Samson is harder and Hadi looks a touch flat,” he wrote, communicating his true feelings about who among the rivals might take the trophy home in a few hours.
Amidst all the excitement, the period between the Arnold Classic 2024 and Arnold Classic UK saw major changes happening in Samson Dauda’s life.
Samson Dauda parts ways with Milos Sarcev
After Dauda and Milos Sarcev said goodbye to each other, a long journey of 2.5 years with 13 shows together came to an end. Even while announcing the split Sarcev was positive about what Dauda had to bring to the post. “As the whole World knows – with improved conditioning (that we failed to bring) he would be extremely hard to beat. Wishing Samson (and Marlena) all the best in the World and most importantly for Samson – fulfillment of his destiny,” Milos Sarcev wrote.

On the other hand, Dauda’s health after the Arnold Classic 2024 was also in some decline. The bodybuilder had taken to Instagram and announced, “I have to take myself to the hospital… my body is just failing at this point, and honestly, I just don’t know what else I could do.”
Despite all that happened, Dauda is now ready to get on stage to go head-to-head with Choopan. With just a few hours left for the battle, it’s your last chance to make the final predictions. Let us know your thoughts on who is going to win the title.
