Bodybuilding icon, Ronnie Coleman‘s fate after retiring from the sport has been overwhelmed with health struggles. The bodybuilder has suffered immense pain urging him to take up Stem Cell therapy for a year now. Therefore, in a recent video on his YouTube channel, he shared an update on his ongoing treatment and how it has improved his health. 

Coleman revealed that it is probably the fourth time he’s visiting the clinic and has realized a few things about the treatment that may help relieve his pain faster. Likewise, the bodybuilding community was relieved by his steady recovery and also empathized with his struggles.

The 59-year-old bodybuilding legend got candid in the video and chatted with his doctor, touching on all the necessary aspects of his improvements over the years. A brief glimpse of him undergoing therapy in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber was also shown in the video. He revealed that he’s made some “major improvements” since he signed up for the treatment. 

The IFBB pro explained his pain level before the therapy as being an eight or nine out of ten. However, after a time span of two years, he realized that the more he undergoes the treatment, the better he gets. “The key here, I see now, is the more treatment, the better off you’re going to be,” he mentioned. The doctor pointed out that Coleman’s body had sustained some serious nerve damage, thus, it would take approximately two years for full nerve recovery.

Besides that, the eight-time Mr. Olympia admitted that in the months he skipped the treatments, the pain tried to come back. Speaking of his painkiller doses, he detailed that, initially he was taking 30 mg doses four times a day, however, after almost four months, his dosage decreased to 15 mg, three times a day. Acknowledging the legend’s steady recovery, the community came together to laud and appreciate his long battle with health.

The interview surfaced yesterday and has already amassed 44.8k views and a number of comments from his fans. A fan thoughtfully wrote that his health looked better, and hoped he gets relieved from his pain. “He looks a lot healthier and happier. God willingly I hope his pain eases,” the comment read. Another fan implied that the community wants to see him bounce back 100% strong. “We all want you back 100% Ronnie,” the comment stated. 

A fan wrote, “Wish you get full health so soon, Mr.Olympia,” while another shared that they feel happy to see the “big man” recovering from the pain. One fan enthusiastically expressed, “Ronnie not only will you walk again, but you will RUN!! Yeah Buddy!!!!! Lightweight!!!!”
