The MCU superhero does ice-cold baths or cold therapy to build and retain muscle. He times his ice baths along with the sauna and does the whole treatment carefully to increase his longevity. Chris shared his experience on Instagram with the fans recently.

The bewitchingly attractive actor who starred in ‘Hunger Games’ has always kept a chiseled physique for the entirety of his career. He owes this to the gym and cold therapy. In his new Instagram post, Hemsworth shared some photos and videos of him and Luke Zocchi sitting in a sauna. The second slide shows him getting into the ice bath for a therapy session. He was feeling the freezing temperatures but also wrote the benefits of it in the captions.

Hemsworth who plays Thor was surprisingly in the Odin ice baths for his therapy and wrote, ?No better way to finish a workout. Combining a sauna with an ice bath is an effective way to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, speed up muscle recovery, and elevate your mood. The heat from the sauna causes blood vessels to dilate, which improves blood flow and reduces inflammation.?
After giving all the benefits of ice baths Chris went on to describe how it helps saying, ?The cold from the ice bath causes blood vessels to constrict, which improves circulation and reduces muscle soreness.
