Jesse James West is a renowned name in the world of fitness and bodybuilding. Being a fitness content creator with over one million followers on Instagram. West is also infamous for pranking prominent bodybuilders.
The fitness influencer often trains with big guns in the bodybuilding world, like the 8X Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman and the Pro Creator, Hany Rambod. Along the same lines, West recently shared a video on his YouTube channel showcasing him rubbing shoulders with the 2023 Arnold Classic champion Ramon Dino. But there was something Dino did that absolutely blew the minds of the fitness influencer.
The Brazilian bodybuilder’s strength left West stunned

In the video, Dino and West were seen engaging in an arm workout together. Dino challenged West to do bicep curls with the maximum weight he could lift. Jesse lifted 70-pound dumbbells and did 4 to 5 reps from the weight, and then Dino lifted Jesse’s PR weight like he was performing a warmup set. After witnessing the immense strength of the former Arnold Classic champion, Jesse exclaimed,” He’s making it look easy.”
On being asked about the weight he uses for doing bicep curls, the Brazilian bodybuilder replied,” I don’t train my biceps a lot!” but the maximum he did was 110 pounds. After hitting the biceps, they went to train the triceps, and West challenged Dino to do a set of triceps pushdowns with a full stack. To which the Brazilian bodybuilder replied,” Let me humiliate him now,” and performed the rep with one arm.
They ended their workout session with seated triceps overhead extensions. West started with a 50-pound dumbbell and did it with both hands. On the other hand, the Brazilian made fun of the natural bodybuilder by performing the exercise using just one hand. The natural bodybuilder’s love for arm workouts is not new. Earlier, he had tried the intense arm workout Rich Piana used to do .
West’s eight-hour arm workout challenge

Last year, the fitness influencer engaged in an eight-hour workout that included 16 different exercises. West and his friend Brandon measured their arm sizes before beginning the workout to see the effectiveness of the workout. They started with four sets of Skull Crushers with 10 reps each and Barbell Curls with 4 sets performing 10 reps in each set.

Bradon mentioned, “I can barely feel my arms; my joints are starting to hurt, which is not a good sign,” in the middle of the workout. They completed the challenge and saw some noticeable results. West gave a piece of advice and said, “I realized something, although training arms for eight hours is something I would never recommend.“
