Therefore, a recent YouTube video by the company featured the doctor refuting the claims made by Hollywood actor, Michael B. Jordan, on biceps training and muscles.?

As per the video on Friday, the scientist was seen reviewing a video of the Creed actor performing dumbbell curls. Dr. Israetel was initially irked by his statement about dumbbell curls being ?great? for conditioning and explosion. He corrected it by saying, ?Not good for conditioning nor for explosion, it is good for making your biceps bigger.??

Besides that, the Brazillian scientist also critiqued Jordan?s form of workout. He remarked that the actor?s form is ?kind of this awkward double elbow bend he?s got going on.? Israetel added that it seemed as if “he’s faking?the curl.” Moments later, Jordan made another claim that caught the doctor?s attention.?

The actor opined that biceps are the ?one of the strongest parts? of the body. This was once again corrected by the doctor, deeming the biceps as the weakest muscles instead. ?almost every muscle is stronger than your biceps. You can curl more than you can leg press or deadlift or pull up or raw or anything else, you have a problem,? he warned. However, this is not the first time Israetel has taken up the challenge to debunk the influences made by notable Hollywood stars.?

A video of Superman actor Henry Cavill doing upper body exercises left the Jiu-jitsu practitioner in concern. Celebrity trainer Rienzi was helping out Cavill in the workout session. Hence, instead of making him do basic lateral raises, the trainer went with an advanced version.?

?Everyone gets fancy all the time. Why don?t these Hollywood trainers just do f***ing basic exercises?? asked Israetel. Although, he admitted that there was nothing wrong with the exercise, it was ?needlessly? complicated, which could subject the actor to injury risks.
