While many actors play it safe or retire by the time they turn 75, Arnold Schwarzenegger is the opposite. The seven-time Mr. Olympia who came to America in 1968 with barely any money, is still taking risks. At 75, the 80s action icon is all set to make his small screen debut. Schwarzenegger and his kids attended the Netflix show FUBAR’S premiere on Monday, where people watched the action-packed first episode of the eight-part series.

After watching his father achieve another milestone, Baena took to social media to show appreciation. The 25-year-old is trying to carve his path in Hollywood, and watching his dad relentlessly working despite his age, inspired Baena. Here’s what Arnie’s “proud,” son wrote in his heartfelt tribute.

The young actor posted an image of himself from the premiere of FUBAR. In the photograph, the young actor did a thumbs-up gesture with both hands. “I give FUBAR a 2 thumbs up!!!” wrote Baena. “Had an amazing time last night at the FUBAR premier!” he added. Besides his siblings, many others from the acting and bodybuilding world, like Phil Heath, attended the premiere.

Schwarzenegger’s youngest, who is starring in the film Gunner with Morgan Freeman, had nothing but praise for the Netflix show. “In my unbiased opinion, FUBAR is a hilarious, action-packed show that will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time!” he wrote about his father’s web series.

According to the 25-year-old, FUBAR has comedy, action, and even drama. He also stated how he couldn’t wait for all the episodes to drop on May 25th. While Baena felt proud of everyone involved in making the show, he felt “especially proud to see @schwarzenegger and @iamgabrielluna bring this amazing show to life!”

“Hero’s don’t retire. They reload.” Jo Baena wrote in the last line of his heartfelt tribute. The tagline felt apt because Schwarzenegger had to reinvent himself to act in something new after spending decades in the big screen industry.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had a very different experience

The 75-year-old icon had acted in big-budget Hollywood movies for decades. He has also worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, like James Cameron. However, even decades of experience couldn’t prepare the veteran actor for filming for a small screen show. “It was 4 months of 12-14 hour days and night,” the True Lies actor wrote in his newsletter.

“TV is wildly different than movies,” stated the former Mr. Olympia. While he faced challenges like filming for extra hours on “the bad days,” and memorizing the massive script, Schwarzenegger pulled it off. Just like Baena, excited Schwarzenegger fans will soon witness the Hollywood legend’s hard work on their television screens and streaming devices.
