Heath’s recount of the event paints a picture of determination and rivalry reaching its zenith. Heath remembered a significant moment at the Arnold Classic in 2010, noting that Greene had also won the previous year’s show in 2009. He explained, “So in 2009 he won the Arnold I got sick at that year’s Olympia so he placed one slot ahead of me that year.”

The 43-year-old continued, “I was not happy with that,” he admitted. “I made sure after that show I said, ‘Look, I was up by three points after prejudging, and then I lost by seven at night.” But Heath’s response to defeat was not one of hopelessness.; it was a catalyst for transformation.

“Instead of bi*ching and mourning… I know what I needed to do,” he asserted. “Just become so great that he’ll never stand a chance and you know it was very difficult holding him off,” exclaimed the Gift.

Defeating Greene at the pinnacle of a bodybuilding competition further instilled pride in Heath, as he emerged victorious against the best.
