Fans have waited for World’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall‘s MMA debut for a long time. And Hall did not disappoint. The 36-year-old strongman was supposed to step into the octagon for the first time earlier this year against fellow strongmen Mitchell Hooper and Brian Shaw. However, after that bout fell through, he had to wait till 7th June to showcase his MMA skills to the world.

The bodybuilding enthusiast has been training under some of the best names in pro-MMA for months. After gaining nearly two years of experience in boxing, Hall got the opportunity to train with the likes of Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall leading up to his debut. Yet, the strongman didn’t fight a fellow giant in his debut. Instead, he took on two brothers.

Eddie Hall went up against The Neffati Brothers. The influencers are twins who have delved into combat sports training since at least 2022. However, Hall had an overwhelming height and weight advantage over the brothers Jamil and Jamel. Individually, each brother is half the size of the 6’2 strongman giant, and even collectively they couldn’t match his weight.

Eddie Hall weighed in at 367 lbs (166.6 kg) before the fight while The Neffati Brothers weighed in at a combined 291 lbs (132 kg), a whopping 62 lbs less than the former World’s Strongest Man. But they still had the numbers advantage in the bout, set up as the headline event of World Freak Fight League 1 was a 2 vs. 1 three-round contest. However, the 36-year-old finished the bout with a viral K.O.

The fight got off to a slow start as the brothers evaded Hall, staying on the outside for two whole rounds. However, once the striking began, Hall swiftly gained the upper hand. The 6’2 former boxer suplexed one of the brothers. Just as it seemed he was about to do the same to the other, the first twin recovered and rushed Hall.

The 36-year-old then showcased his striking training, flooring his opponent with a pull-back right hook. The referees mercifully put a stop to the bout as Hall walked away the victor. The incredible K.O. victory sent fans into a frenzy.
