The bodybuilding community has always had people inspire the masses to live healthier and better lives. Jo Linder aka Joesthetics was one of those men. Unfortunately, he tragically passed away in 2023. Even though he left the world suddenly a few months ago, it was important that his legacy lived on, and that the work he set out to do, continue in his name.

Linder’s family recently shared a joint post on Instagram, where they announced to start of a project to honor their son’s inspirational and motivational legacy.

After Joesthetics passed away, his family felt deeply touched by the love and condolences they received. Though still grieving, they find solace in knowing Jo led a meaningful life and positively impacted countless individuals. In their Instagram post, they opened up about the cremation ceremony they did in Thailand, because Linder wanted to settle down in Thailand. And to honor Jo’s memory, the family decided to carry on with some of the projects he was passionate about.

 

They will use a portion of the profits for charity and support young athletes. On Jo’s 31st birthday on January 14, the family will reveal the first project in his honor. Expressing gratitude on his Instagram, they will limit its use, sharing updates, photos, and inspiration on a new account, @joesthetics.forever, to preserve his legacy and spread the positivity he shared.

On June 30, 2023, the sad news of Jo Linder’s passing spread all over the internet. His untimely demise was nothing short of a shock for everyone. The 30-year-old died due to a problem in his blood vessels called an aneurysm. His sudden death saddened not only his fans but also other bodybuilders in the fitness community.

It’s been months but people are still expressing their grief over Lindner’s death. Linder was admired not just for his incredible physique but for the genuine passion and humility he brought to the fitness world, “He will live on forever, a true legend.” Another fan expressed the bittersweet feeling of seeing Joe’s posts, saying, “When I saw that Joe again posted, for a sec I felt the man is alive! Only true gym rats know him! Please don’t deactivate his account ever! I still watch his exercises! He’s the humblest human I’ve ever seen in my life.”

The pain of his sudden demise remains fresh for many, “Hurts just as bad as it did the day the news broke,” and “Rest in peace to one of my biggest inspirations.” Another added, “Gone but never forgotten miss u brazzer.”  Linder’s influence reached beyond the gym, touching the lives of those who looked up to him as a role model and mentor, “Legend forever when I saw his videos in 2020 and he being shredded it motivated me to be better, like eat clean, train harder and is sad what happened but he’s a legend and left a legacy,” and “Jo was a legend, and his legacy will persist.”
