Mike O’Hearn has been an absolute bodybuilding legend who has not only won the Mr. Olympia titles a few times, but managed to look young even at 55 years old. Yet as the bodybuilder continues with his fitness journey and makes a chain of trials and errors with exercises, he sometimes gets backlashes from the fitness community because of his experimental exercises.
The fitness community started questioning a lot about O’hearn’s reverse grip inclines and whether it is the way he truly trains is at all effective. However, Mike O’hearn showed much confidence and talked about it being beneficial to one’s fitness regime.

Mike O’hearn recorded several clips of how reverse-grip incline can be done. He stated, “I just want to show you this to see get an understanding of not doing much but doing everything.” The bodybuilder kept on emphasizing the importance of doing this exercise as it might help in being 10 times more effective than usual.
O’Hearn then posed a rhetorical question, “We’re doing reverse grip inclines all right why?” Then the Titan went ahead to reply with another question, “Why not?” The bodybuilder also expressed how one needs to pay attention to their warm-ups to make sure that they are doing it right and their body likes it.
However, when the fitness community saw the video, it left a bitter taste in them and led them to share some negative comments on the post.

O’hearn gets a subtle backlash from the fitness community
One fan commented on how Mike’s face looked extremely shredded, “Mike looking like a Skeleton in the face.” Another fan said, “First time I have seen him looking unwell.” Someone also asked in reply to the video’s title, “Why Am I Doing This?” Bc he literally doesn’t know why.” Yet another fan talked about how O’Hearn wants to stay outside of the mainstream. “You are doing this, because it goes against the mainstream and as a narcissist, you always feel the need to stand out and be special.” Someone else also asked O’Hearn’s fans not to follow his lead on this, “This movement does absolutely nothing for you. Don’t let little Mike fool ya. Golds gym Venice in the 90s LITTLE Mike would of got laughed at. Absolutely no competition anymore that’s why Little Mike can try to impress this pathetic generation. Keep that botox going LITTLE Mike.”
