Recently, bodybuilding veteran Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s son, Patrick, came forward with a reply to a tweet from an individual who body-shamed U.S. President Joe Biden on Twitter. Patrick, apart from defending the President, also sent a valuable message on the importance of respecting others and not indulging in body shaming.

As a celebrity and internet personality, Patrick’s voice carries the power to influence many minds. Using the social media platform, he amplified a critical social issue that resonates with a broad audience. The tweet from the netizen included an image of Biden with the caption, “This is the kind of body you DO NOT WANT. – flabby, protruding belly – noodle arms – twig legs – bent neck – slomping, broken posture – Translucent vampire skin.” He continued by writing, “This is the body of a weak loser. A slob with no work ethic and no strength. A conquered soul. RISE ABOVE.”

Schwarzenegger, however, advocated against body shaming and could not remain silent after coming across this tweet. Responding to this, Patrick wrote, “I mean… he is 80 lol. Chill on the body stuff.” His tweet sent a profound message that regardless of age, body-shaming or disrespecting an individual is not acceptable.

Aging is a natural process that is bound to happen to every individual. Patrick’s tweet emphasized the fact that it is the tough age of President Biden that makes his body look weak and wrinkled. Patrick must have empathized with Biden’s condition in some way or another. After all, he recently expressed his concerns related to aging as well.

While Arnold Schwarzenegger has multiple times revealed his struggles with aging, his eldest son, Patrick, is also about to enter his 30s soon. A few weeks ago, a post on Twitter by Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed his recent encounter with a sign of senescence.

He was annoyed to find white hair on his chest. Thus, he publicly let out his feelings with a strong expression. Patrick wrote in the tweet, “I found a white chest hair. Smfh.” His tweet came out of shock and disbelief over the incident.
