He retired by writing his name permanently in the hearts of bodybuilding enthusiasts. In a recent YouTube video with Urs Kalecinski The ?Vanderbilt Athletics?Hall of Fame winner was doing his leg day and went down memory lane.

This is when he went down memory when he was only 22 years old and competed in the Olympias. He had a lot of stories about the veteran in bodybuilders of that time .?

During the rigorous leg day, Cutler recalled his prime days in the bodybuilding world when he was a young lad. He talked about his counterparts who were as talented as he was. Kalecinski asked him, ?Who was the guy who inspired you the most when you were growing up??

Cutler immediately started reminiscing about his old days when he was a 22-year-old youth and he said, ?Believe it or not there were aesthetic guys.? He named some veteran bodybuilders and said, ?Paul DeMayo, you remember Quadzilla he was from my area. I mean Dorian Yates was Mr. Olympia at the time.? According to Cutler, Yates was huge. Jay said, ?I was 22 when I met Dorian Yates in person. He was huge.?

Urs agreed with him and then Cutler took the name of another counterpart bodybuilder who was just one year older than him. The ‘Comeback Kid’ replied, ?You know who else was really big? Lee Priest was really big.? Then he spoke about the signature huge quads that Lee Priest had. Cutler exclaimed, ?He was only 20 and I was 19. He could barely walk.?? Weighing around 260 pounds in the competition, Cutler was very impressed by the conditioning of Lee Priest.?

The full-time Mr. Olympia winner had achieved his pro card only at 20 years old. The Australian’s achievement speaks volumes for him, and very few bodybuilders could have achieved a pro card at 20.? During an interview with Flex Lewis, Jay Cutler recalled the first time he met a priest at Gold’s Gym. Cutler was used to meeting pro bodybuilders, but the particular 2006 IFBB Pro winner had shocked him more than anyone else.?

The four-time MFler. Olympia said in the interview,??No one can ever blow your mind like Lee Priest looked when he was 21 years old.? He further stated, ?I walked in the gym and I remember looking at him and saying, ?How is that even possible?? He could barely walk his legs were so big. I think he almost downsized as his career went on but he was massive.?
