Flex Wheeler, widely regarded as The Sultan of Symmetry in the bodybuilding community, is undoubtedly one of the greatest bodybuilders in history. As a matter of fact, he is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s favorite bodybuilder. However, he has been the subject of over 40 surgeries. From acquiring a severe kidney condition to getting his right leg amputated, it is still amusing how the legend manages to stay positive at this stage. He even had some trouble with his arms recently where he had to go through yet another surgery. Now, the Sultan of Symmetry shared another heartbreaking news regarding his post-op health, that is stopping him from leading a normal life.
Flex Wheeler maybe suffering from nerve damage
Wheeler took to his Instagram account and shared a video, sharing the challenges that he has been facing after the surgery that he recently went through. He begins by saying that he had all his hopes put in for having the mobility in his arms restored after the surgery. However, the result has not been as he had expected it to be.

Silently suffering through pain in his left shoulder has probably got him into nerve damage, which is now being repaired. He wrote, “The outcome has been nothing short of devastating, leaving me disheartened and disillusioned. The emotional and financial investment I poured into this endeavor now feels like a futile expenditure, compounding the weight of my anguish.”

He further goes on to share about the severe pain that he still has in his neck, shoulder, back, and, leg even after all the surgeries. He adds that this has become an obstacle in the process of him leading a happy life and that shatters him with each passing day.

Difficult road ahead for the Sultan of Symmetry
The Sultan of Symmetry goes about sharing how he is in absolute despair and is completely heartbroken. Having gone through so many dislocations, he’s just in fright, about what is next for him. “Each day feels like an insurmountable battle, and I am left utterly drained, both physically and emotionally. The weariness I carry within me is beyond words.”

He adds that he is frustrated with the fact that his life is completely dependent on medicines. However, he still has not lost completely and is ready to give everyone a good fight. He says, “I want you all to know, I’m truly grateful for all of your support and presence in my life, and I hold onto the hope that brighter days will eventually find their way to me.”
Hopefully, Wheeler will have a successful recovery and get back to his normal life soon.
