The well-known Instagram page in the bodybuilding realm, “bisandtris,“ broke the news of Daboul getting beaten up. Now the account shared what the 2bropro show promoters had to say for themselves. They shared that the pro athlete was trying to enter a men’s restricted area. Moreover, he tried entering the females’ dressing and tanning area and was refused entry according to the show’s security policy.
They further mentioned, “Throughout the day, said individual, was being very aggressive towards security staff who were just performing their duties. Several attempts were made by individual to access restricted areas without being in possession of the correct passes or credentials.”

The show promoters even highlighted that this was not the first time the individual did something like this. In previous events, he abused a young female member and got into a fight with a spectator. Surprisingly, Daboul was banned from the show in 2019. However, after he won the Arnold Classic UK and got some fame, he was unbanned from the shows and was able to attend them.
The promoter wrote, “Athletes safety first“, further adding, “2bros will not be commenting any further until the police investigations are complete,”
After going through 2bro’s statement, the IFBB Pro athlete shared his views on his Instagram story: “Given the new statement of 2bros, it is clear the best scenario is to proceed legally.”
In response to the statement, Daboul stated that the promoters are lying as there is ample evidence and witnesses to back his version of the story. In the end, he wrote, “I will no longer be discussing this issue as I will have my lawyer take care of it moving forward.”
Among these posts and stories, the IFBB Pro League posted their take on the matter and assured every attendee that they should feel safe at the event. They wrote, “While we await for details from the local authorities about the incident that occurred with the venue security at a UK event, we want to reassure our competitors and attendees that no one should feel unsafe at any of our events.”

Daboul criticized the 2bropro show’s ticket price. He shared that the prices were not justified; each ticket cost fifteen dollars more than the Arnold Classic UK. The IFBB Pro shared a side-by-side comparison of the 2bropro show with Arnold Classic and wrote, “Pay 65$ and watch 1 pro category” for the 2bropro show. He wrote, “Pay 50$ get 3 days pass to the exp + watching amateur + pro show included” for the Arnold Classic. The IFBB Pro shared in his previous story that he has been competing for nearly a decade in over 20 countries, and this is the first time an incident like this has happened. He highlighted that if he criticized a small show, he just wanted the sport to get better. Continuing, he shared a heartbreaking message, “Today I felt so embarrassed and I felt really in pain. I’m not talking about the physical pain because I can take much more than that but to get beaten in front of people and in front of my partner is a hard feeling to explain. I honestly wished for that moment to be dead and not have to look at anyone in the eyes.”
