The fitness world has a traditional outlook when it comes to appreciating the legends of the past who left remarkable impressions in the industry. However, a 21-year-old bodybuilder who is yet to make his debut gets placed next to some of the most popular bodybuilding icons.

Sam Sulek, despite being only 21, has acquired much popularity both on his Instagram as well as in the industry. Despite the fact that the bodybuilder hasn’t made his professional entry, he still gets treated like a legend which infuriates the fitness community.

Sam Sulek’s inclusion next to Ronnie Coleman

In the latest post by Arnold Sports, Sam Sulek was featured in a post alongside the legendary bodybuilders Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Chris Bumstead and Strongman Hafthor Bjornsson. The post was dedicated to the announcement of official photo sales. In the caption of their post, it was written, “We are excited to announce that we are offering reserved photo ops with your favorite stars and legends.”

The post infuriated many as Sam Sulek does not have any accomplishments to match with the personalities he is listed with. The community shows its aversion as several people thought it was disrespecting the bodybuilding beasts who have true achievements, unlike Sulek.

As the Arnold Sports’ official Instagram handle posted the announcement, several people criticized Sulek’s inclusion in the list.

Fitness community slams down Sam Sulek

One of the fans questioned, “Why Sulek? Ok he is popular but in the same category as the others?”. Another asked, “Everyone on here has Multiple World Titles so why Sam on here what has he done in the industry or even won?” Somone else pointed out, “The power of social media. A nobody standing with somebody’s.”

Yet another person commented, “No offense to Sam but buddy hasn’t done anything to be in the same room as the other legends unless he’s paying like the rest of us. I think he’s a cool dude but cmon…” While someone else stated, “Never been a huge sam fan to be honest. But he has seriously exploded out of the gates. I mean, how long ago did he debut? And hes at the fucking Arnold shows now?”
