The former Strongman champ shared his feat on Instagram, posting a snippet of his video, with the caption, “390kg / 860lbs x 3.” He also invited fans to watch the full video on his YouTube channel, where he detailed his impressive lifting session.

The YouTube video began with Bjornsson warming up to 154 lbs. He then progresses through increasingly heavier weights: 375 lbs, 485 lbs for three reps. After a brief break, he then lifted 595 lbs, 705 lbs, and 795 lbs, and ultimately amazed everyone by lifting a whopping 860 lbs.

Amidst lifting the heavy weights he confessed to feeling tired. Despite the tiredness, The Mountain executed the lift with remarkable ease. During the YouTube video, he emphasizes his ongoing training, “I’ve been training heavy… jumping 20 kgs the last few weeks in the deadlift but decreasing by one rep.”
