Dr. Mike Israetel, aka the Exercise Scientist, has the reputation of being one of the biggest critics in the bodybuilding industry. But what if someone criticizes the bodybuilding critic’s physique? This isn’t something that happens often. And who better than IFBB Pro coach Greg Doucette to do it?

In a recent YouTube video on Doucette’s channel, he engages in a critique of the Exercise Scientist’s physique. Alongside that, he went on a journey to find out “how great are his genetics.” Coach Doucette even compared the former professor to a Welsh bodybuilder, who won seven Olympia titles, to give a clear picture of the physique of Dr. Mike. The coach had a nickname for Israetel as well.

Doucette doesn’t think the PhD. holder’s physique is aesthetically pleasing

Genetics for putting on a lot of muscle; they’re in fact way above average. The guy is a 5’6 manlet, a hobbit if you will, just like coach Greg,” said the IFBB Pro in the YouTube video. He further highlighted that the Exercise Scientist touches 250 pounds in his off-season. On the contest day, he adjusts his weight to 225 pounds.

The 48-year-old coach shed light on how Israetel’s physique could be compared to that of Flex Lewis. “Being only 5’6, 225 is a monster; it’s literally bigger than Flex Lewis. Flex Lewis competed at 212 Mike Israete,l 225.” He continued and said, “He doesn’t look nearly as good. The aesthetics, his genetics for looking aesthetic far far below average, and so what we have is a guy with a ton of muscle with horrible genetics for looking aesthetic.

The coach summarized and rated the host of the channel, Renaissance Periodization. “Overall, if we have to rate his overall genetics as a bodybuilder, I’m still giving him above above-average rating,” said the IFBB Pro coach. This is not the first time Coach Greg has touched upon something to do with Israetel. Earlier, Doucette expressed his views on the Exercise Scientist’s video on SARMS.

The duo seems to agree on one thing about SARMS

Coach Greg highlighted the exact effect of SARMs on your body. SARMS are the newer concept of dru*s that have the exact same effects as ster**ds on your body but with much lower side effects. However both bodybuilders disagree with this claim of the SARMS. Due to the misleading marketing of having no side effects, a” lot of people want to take SARMS,” says Doucette.

He believed that now, many gymgoers are opting for SARMs instead of roids. Doucette mentioned that they “are not for human consumption,” as they are still under research. The 48-year-old IFBB Pro uncovered the truth and said SARMS leads to issues like “lower levels of testosterone, not to get gynecomastia, acne, heart, liver, kidney… Problem is, they do these things!

Both bodybuilders might have different training ideologies, but they both agree on the harmful side effects of the SARMS. Have you also taken SARMS without knowing the effects? Let us know in the comments.
