Jay Cutler is one of the pioneer bodybuilding champions of the recent era. He is a four-time Mr. Olympia winner, and even at the age of 50, he can easily compete in Mr. Olympia and give a run for money to people younger than him. He always believed in working hard and having a high-intensity workout. His dedication was seen in one of the throwback videos of 2000 Mr. Olympia, where the video was of him being six days out from the Olympia.
He explained his exercises thoroughly in the video and how he puts in the proper amount of protein and carbs into his diet to get in perfect shape, especially when there is only one week left before Olympia.

The video started with young Cutler, who was preparing for his Olympia in 2000. Even though he did not achieve Mr. Olympia and was 8th that year, he won the title from 2006 to 2010. He also achieved the Night of the Champions the same year that he did not achieve Mr. Olympia. Whatever the case was, Cutler always gave his 100 percent and even more when he was preparing for the main competitions. The video showed him working and sweating it out in the gym.
He said, “The main thing that is keeping me full is high sodium. Once I take the sodium out and cut my water a little and put the carbs in, it gives the muscles a different look—a fuller, much drier, crisper look.”
He was already confident about his conditioning four weeks out of the competition, and he knew that he had to bring down the carbs. He was also confident about the fact that he would be one of the most conditioned guys in the competition, for sure. The gym, according to Cutler, was always his sanctuary, where all his stress from family, school, and worries about the future would dwindle.
Cutler also spoke about Ronnie Coleman and talked about him being the only competitor. After fans watched this throwback video, they were impressed by the bodybuilding champion and his dedication to bodybuilding.
